Nunderi

Nunderi is a locality situated southwest of Tweed Heads in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, in the local government area of Tweed Shire. Nunderi is in the state electorate of Tweed and the federal division of Richmond. The town enjoys proximity to the ocean beaches of Cabarita Beach and Casuarina and is located not far from the New South Wales Queensland border. Nunderi is found between Eviron to the north and Clothiers Creek to the south.

History

Nunderi had a significantly higher median age to the Australian median in the 2021 census. Like the larger Northern Rivers region, Nunderi is popular with retirees thanks to its warm climate and tranquil beachside lifestyle of which it enjoys proximity.
