Kings Forest

Kings Forest is a small town situated south of Tweed Heads in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, in the local government area of Tweed Shire. The town forms part of the state electorate of Tweed. King Forest enjoys close proximity to the ocean beaches of Casuarina, which is found directly adjacent to its eastern border. Kings Forest is located between Cudgen to the north and Tanglewood to the south.

History

Like many towns in the Northern Rivers, Kings Forest had an older median age than the national median when the census took place in 2016. This is thanks to the area’s popularity with retirees owing to its warm weather and tranquil beachside lifestyle.
