Kingscliff is a coastal town situated south of Tweed Heads in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, in the local government area of Tweed Shire. The town is a popular holiday beach community with a variety of accommodation available near Kingscliff Beach and South Kingscliff Beach. Kingscliff is found between Fingal Head to the north and Casuarina to the south.
Kingcliff is a popular and well known beachside holiday spot. The film Aquamarine had a scene filmed on Marine Parade in 2007. Unfortunately the main Kingscliff Beach has been significantly impacted by coastal erosion and subsequently from 2014 a 500-metre seawall was planned to fill in the beach with imported sand. The Kingscliff Foreshore Revitalisation Project commenced in 2016.
Cudgen Creek divides the town, with its northern portion centred around Kingscliff Beach and its southern portion sitting on South Kingscliff Beach. Off Kingscliff Beach is the main street Marine Parade, which features an array of cafes, shops and accommodation.
