Condong

Condong is a village situated south of Tweed Heads in the Northern Rivers region New South Wales. The village forms part of the local government area of the Tweed Shire. Condong is part of the state electorate of Tweed and the federal division of Richmond. Condong enjoys proximity to Murwillumbah and Cabarita Beach. The village is found between Tumbulgum to the north and Kielvale to the south.

History

Condong had a population of 298 people in 2011 when the last census was taken. The village had a median age 6 years above Australia’s national median, owing to the greater area’s popularity with retirees thanks to its warm weather and laid back beachside lifestyle.
