Bungalora 

Bungalora is a small town situated south of Tweed Heads in the Northern Rivers region New South Wales. The town forms part of the local government area of Tweed Shire. Bungalora is part of the State Electorate of Tweed and the Federal Electorate of Richmond. The town is located in between Bilambil to the north and North Tumbulgum to the south.

History

The Northern Rivers region of New South Wales initially developed as an agricultural area, particularly well suited to banana plantations. In the latter half of the 20th century, the area became popular for holidays and retirees, thanks to its warm weather and tranquil beachside lifestyle. Bungalora had a population of 69 in 2016 when the last census took place.
